A little film sitting in Limbo
While somewhat appropriate to its title, I am a little frustrated that "Liminal Lacunae 1" is sitting in Limbo - the animation is [mostly?] done, and I know the piece of music I want to go with it. The hang-up has been sitting down and figuring out the ways and means of making the music so that I don't have to pay for a license of a public domain Bach piano piece, (and/or the harpsichord version, which is 100% identical except for the MIDI instrument voice... while I was considering options, I laid one track over the other - exact synch through the entire piece!), or impose on musician friends/family. I'll make it work, but I need to continue with other parts of the greater project. My vision for this greater project is to create several small pieces that can be used/reused/interpreted/reinterpreted, separated and/or combined as parts of the "Liminal Lacunae" collection - representing the feeling of being/not being, of sub-spaces hovering in between othe...
